Obsidian is reportedly working on four projects

2026 is expected to be a major year for Xbox: the company will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and by the end of the year Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day, and Fable should be released. At this month’s Developer_Direct event, Microsoft may showcase some of these games. This is reported by playground.ru. reports .
According to Windows Central journalist Jez Corden, after The Outer Worlds 2, Avowed, and Grounded 2 are presented in 2025, Obsidian is simultaneously working on four different projects. They are said to vary in scope and ambition, but which games they are has not yet been disclosed.
It is also mentioned that Ninja Theory is preparing its next project: it may be more combat-focused and interactive than the first two Hellblade entries. Nevertheless, the British team’s “cinematic” style—an important part of the studio’s DNA—will remain the top priority.
On the hardware side, Corden notes that Microsoft could unveil the Xbox Elite Controller Series 3 at least as early as this year. In addition, it’s possible that other types of controllers for the next-generation Xbox are also in development.
