Renowned audio equipment manufacturer JBL has updated its line of most affordable and compact wireless speakers. The new Go 5 model retains the traditional small dimensions of its predecessors while significantly enhancing its technical capabilities. The device measures 101×77.4×43 mm, weighs just 230 grams, and is IP68 water and dust resistant. Reports rozetked.me.
This time, the company focused heavily on sound quality. The driver, tuned by Harman experts, is now equipped with a built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for wired connection to a computer. For wireless connectivity, the modern Bluetooth 6 technology has been chosen. The device also supports SBC, AAC, and LC3 codecs, as well as the Auracast feature for multi-speaker pairing.
The new model will be available in six colors. A 1000 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of continuous playback. Pre-orders have started in the Chinese market, with a price of 399 yuan.
