John Carpenter's Toxic Commando Released

Focus Entertainment has released John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, a cooperative zombie shooter, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Reports Rozetked.me.
The game was developed by Saber Interactive with direct involvement from legendary horror director John Carpenter, known for films like The Thing and his passion for video games.

Critics have given the title a positive reception, praising its engaging gameplay while noting weaknesses in the story. Some reviewers even describe it as a spiritual successor to the classic Left 4 Dead.
Players can choose from four character classes: assault, medic, operator, and defender. Up to four people can team up, and they are free to select the same class if they wish. The shooter fully supports cross-play across all platforms.

In the game, teams battle against a mysterious Slime God that transforms humans into zombies. The title is currently priced at 2199 rubles in the Russian Steam store.
