Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Smart TV A50, a new budget-friendly television with a 50-inch screen, 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The model is aimed at buyers who want modern display features without paying a premium price. Reports Rozetked.me.
The TV comes with slim bezels and an IPS panel that supports up to one billion colors. Xiaomi also says the device uses True Tone technology for more accurate color reproduction. Sound is handled by two 10W speakers built into the set.
Inside, the Redmi Smart TV A50 runs on a quad-core processor based on Cortex-A35 cores, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The television uses Hyper OS as its operating system for smart features and apps.
In terms of connectivity, the model supports single-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. It also includes two HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, as well as Ethernet and AV connectors, giving users several options for external devices and wired internet access.
The new TV is priced at 1,399 yuan, which is roughly 16,500 Russian rubles. Sales have started through Xiaomi's Youpin marketplace, where the Redmi Smart TV A50 is now available to order.
