Xiaomi has introduced its updated flagship Notebook Pro 14, aiming at users who want high performance in a very light body. The company says the laptop weighs just 1.08 kilograms, a figure made possible by a magnesium alloy chassis and a carbon-fiber lid. That makes it one of the more portable premium laptops in its class. Reports Rozetked.me.
The new model runs on Intel’s latest Core Ultra X7 358H processor built on the Panther Lake architecture. Xiaomi says the chip operates with a 50W thermal design, while cooling is handled by a system that combines graphene plates with dual fans. The device is positioned as a premium rival to other high-end productivity laptops, including Apple’s MacBook Pro line.
The Notebook Pro 14 features a 14.6-inch OLED display with 3.1K resolution, up to 1,600 nits of brightness and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Connectivity options include one Thunderbolt 4 port with speeds up to 40 Gbps, two USB-C ports with up to 10 Gbps and 5 Gbps respectively, plus HDMI and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Xiaomi says the laptop is equipped with a 72Wh battery that can deliver up to 12.4 hours of online conference use. A 100W gallium nitride fast charger is included in the box. The Notebook Pro 14 is already on sale in China for 8,499 yuan and comes in blue, pink, gray and white.
