The Russian state corporation Rostex and the Belarusian plant BelAZ have established a joint venture named Robleks in Moscow. This entity will focus on implementing hydrogen-fueled dump trucks and unmanned control systems at Russian mines. Ixbt.com reports on this.

The new enterprise has secured exclusive rights to sell hydrogen-powered and autonomous equipment manufactured by BelAZ in the Russian market. The primary goal of the project is to create a unified technological platform in the mining industry that integrates artificial intelligence, telemetry, and hydrogen energy.

Experts note that the practical testing processes for the new equipment will begin as early as this year. If the project is successfully completed, Russia will possess environmentally friendly and fully automated solutions for heavy industry.
