Advertising budgets on Max messenger increased 55-fold in five months

The volume of advertising placements on Russia's national messenger, Max, could reach 2–2.5 billion rubles by the end of 2026. This forecast was released by analysts from Telega.in and experts from the Association for the Development of Interactive Advertising. Ixbt.com reports on this.
This figure represents approximately 3–4 percent of the influencer marketing market, which was valued at 50–60 billion rubles in 2025.
The growth rates on the platform are already showing high dynamics. In the five months from October 2025 to March 2026, advertising budgets on the Max messenger increased 55-fold, rising from 2 million rubles to 110 million rubles per month.
The number of advertising companies and brands increased 25-fold, reaching 5,000.
The most active sectors for advertising placements were news and media (52.2%), family content (42.4%), and education (34.8%). The primary clients include online education platforms, bloggers, and representatives of the real estate segment.
Vladimir Mosin, CEO of Telega.in, emphasized that the Max advertising market will continue to grow in 2026. According to him, this will be driven by companies actively testing the platform, an increase in the average check size, and a rise in the number of public and private channels on the platform.
