Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella explained how the updated partnership with OpenAI will impact the company's financial position. According to him, the new agreement is beneficial for all. Techcrunch.com reports on this.

Nadella noted that Microsoft has retained the right to use OpenAI's intellectual property, including its models and products, for free. The company plans to have full access to the most advanced artificial intelligence technologies until 2032.

Under the new agreement, Microsoft no longer holds exclusive rights to OpenAI technologies. OpenAI announced that it will provide its artificial intelligence products in partnership with Amazon cloud services.

Despite this, Nadella stated there is no cause for concern. Microsoft's artificial intelligence business annual revenue exceeded $37 billion and grew by 123 percent compared to last year.

Additionally, OpenAI has committed to spending more than $250 billion to purchase Microsoft cloud services. Microsoft owns a 27 percent stake in OpenAI.

Nadella added that enterprises often want to use multiple AI models. Currently, more than 10,000 customers are using OpenAI, Anthropic, and other open-source models together.
