Pentagon military to use artificial intelligence from Google and SpaceX
The Pentagon has reached an agreement with seven artificial intelligence companies, including Google, SpaceX, and Microsoft, to implement advanced technologies in classified networks. This initiative aims to enhance military operations by integrating AI products into sensitive areas. Notably, Anthropic was excluded from the list due to its restrictions on military use, which the Pentagon previously labeled as a risk to the supply chain. Additionally, Reflection AI, one of the selected companies, recently raised $2 billion and is supported by the venture firm 1789 Capital, associated with Donald Trump.

Anthropic was not included in this list. This is due to the restrictions the company has placed on the military's use of its artificial intelligence tools.
Earlier this year, the Pentagon labeled the startup a supply chain risk. As a result, the department and its contractors were prohibited from using Anthropic products.
Additionally, Reflection AI, which is included on the list, raised 2 billion dollars in October. This startup is backed by the venture firm 1789 Capital, in which Donald Trump Jr. is a partner and investor.
