VTB Bank has fully completed the legal merger process with Pochta Bank. This process was carried out in stages. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.
The merged banking network has become the largest in Russia. VTB customers can now access services at 4,500 service points and 23,000 post offices.
Andrey Kostin, Chairman of the Management Board of VTB, noted that customers can utilize services online, at branches, through mobile managers, and at post offices.
Andrey Kostin: "The merger of VTB and Pochta Bank is one of the largest integration projects in recent years. We have changed the model of providing financial services, eliminating the gap between large and small cities."
In 2024, VTB acquired the full stake in Pochta Bank, becoming the sole owner of the credit institution.
