VTB Bank completes merger with Pochta Bank

VTB Bank has completed its legal merger with Post Bank, marking the end of a phased integration process. This merger has created the largest banking network in Russia, allowing VTB customers access to 4,500 service points and 23,000 post offices. VTB Chairman Andrey Kostin emphasized that customers can now utilize services online, at branches, through mobile managers, and at post offices, highlighting the merger as one of the largest integration projects in recent years. In 2024, VTB plans to fully acquire its stake in Post Bank, becoming the sole owner of the credit institution.
