Samsung has stopped updates for three popular Galaxy smartphones

Samsung has ended software support for three of its mid-range smartphones: Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, and Galaxy M33 5G. Starting this month, these devices have been officially removed from the list of those receiving security and system updates. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

These smartphones were introduced in April 2022 with the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 operating system. Throughout their lifecycle, the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 models received two major system updates, with One UI 6 (Android 14) being their final version.

The Galaxy M33 5G model received support for a slightly longer period. It received four major updates, with its final version being One UI 8 (Android 16). Regular updates will no longer be released for these devices.

Company representatives noted that in the future, special patches may only be released for these models if critical security vulnerabilities are discovered. Users are advised to upgrade to newer models to ensure their security.
