Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft has undocked from the orbital station

China's Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft has successfully undocked from the country's orbital station. This was reported by China Central Television. In the near future, the spacecraft will perform a controlled deorbit process. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

During the reentry process, the main part of the structure will burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere. The remaining fragments will be directed to a predetermined safe sea area. This process is a standard procedure carried out after cargo spacecraft complete their missions.

Tianzhou-9 was launched on July 15, 2025, and delivered food, equipment, and other supplies necessary for the crew to the station. China's orbital station is located at an altitude of approximately 400 km.

This station has been in operation since 2022 and is designed for 3 astronauts (up to 6 during rotation periods). The station is being gradually expanded to implement scientific and international projects.
