LimX Luna: Dancing robot with 27 degrees of freedom unveiled

A new humanoid robot named LimX Luna has been officially unveiled and released in China. The starting price is set at $43,000, though the first 100 units are offered at $38,000. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

LimX Luna stands 160 cm tall and features 27 degrees of freedom. The device is equipped with the second-generation SYS 0 motion control system. It also features an improved heat dissipation system, a longer-lasting battery, and supports multi-modal interaction.

The manufacturers claim the new robot operates 150% more autonomously than its predecessor. When connected to a wired power source, it can operate 24/7. The robot is also equipped with safety features: it detects external impacts, stops movement upon falling, and shuts down immediately via an emergency button.

LimX Luna is capable of performing versatile tasks. For example, it can act as a guide in shopping malls or host interactive games in amusement parks. Most interestingly, the robot has the ability to learn how to dance by watching videos.
