The Yandex team announced major updates for Alisa AI released in May 2026. Users can now quickly remove backgrounds from photos, highlight important details in images, and search for products not only by link but also by name. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
One of the key innovations is the ability to remove backgrounds from images. To do this, simply upload the photo to the “Animate Photo” section, select the “Edit” option, and ask Alisa AI to remove the background. The final result can be saved in PNG format. Additionally, the neural network has learned to answer questions about specific parts of an image.
The “Studio” section now combines photo editing and animation functions. After editing a photo, an “Animate” button appears on the screen, which automatically triggers the animation creation process. This allows users to save time when working with content.
The AI agent called “Find Cheaper” now searches for products not only via links but also by name. Search speed has been increased, and tips on how profitable an offer is now appear next to the product price. The ability to select a search region has also been added, which is very convenient for ordering gifts to other cities.
