Today, March 12, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the House of Honor in Paris for Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is on a state visit to France. The presidential press service reported this.

The leader of Uzbekistan was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron.

An honorary guard consisting of personnel from the French Republican Guard, land forces, navy and air force lined up on the square in honor of the high-ranking guest.

The anthems of the two countries sounded under the performance of a military orchestra. The guardsmen solemnly marched in front of the President of Uzbekistan.

The presidents walked past the honorary guard and greeted members of the official delegations.

Then, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by cavalry guards and motorcyclists, headed to the Elysee Palace, the residence of the French president, for high-level negotiations.
