A new draft law to create convenience for Uzbek migrants!
The Committee on Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the Legislative Chamber has received a preliminary review of a new draft law aimed at further improving the legislative system in the field of migration. This important initiative was prepared to further regulate relations related to labor migration, as well as to ensure the legal protection of citizens of Uzbekistan wishing to work abroad.

One of the main changes in the draft law is to grant new and important powers to the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers. Now this state body will act as an authorized body that performs such tasks as issuing licenses to private employment agencies engaged in the placement of persons seeking employment outside the territory of Uzbekistan, and constantly monitoring their compliance with the terms of the license.

The draft also provides for a number of new procedures aimed at expanding the capabilities of private employment agencies. In particular, agencies will be given the right to organize special training courses for citizens planning to work temporarily abroad in foreign languages and professions. It will also be possible to involve foreign partner employers in such training.

These procedures are intended to strengthen the professional and language training of migrant workers and increase their competitiveness in the labor market abroad. This, in turn, will have a positive impact on the protection of labor rights and interests of citizens who have left Uzbekistan abroad.

The draft law also provides for reducing the amount of reserve funds required for obtaining a license in order to simplify and facilitate the process of obtaining a license for the activities of private employment agencies. Such changes will serve to increase the number of private agencies and develop a competitive environment in this area.

The draft law is being prepared for discussion by parliamentary factions and political parties. Experts say that these new regulations will help to organize legal relations related to labor migration in our country more transparently and effectively. It will also increase the legal knowledge and skills of citizens and reduce the likelihood of them encountering various problems during their work abroad.

Experts emphasize that with the adoption of this new draft law, a new era in the field of migration is expected to begin, emphasizing that these processes will play a significant role in ensuring a balance between supply and demand in the labor market.

The Zamin.uz editorial office will closely monitor the news on this draft law. Time will tell how effective this initiative will be.
