
In Uzbekistan, statistics related to marriages from January to April 2025 have been determined. According to the data from the National Statistical Committee, during this period, 59,598 marriages were registered in the country's civil registry offices. This resulted in identifying new trends regarding the distribution of marriages across different regions of Uzbekistan.
By region, the distribution of marriages is as follows:
- Republic of Karakalpakstan — 4,011 cases;
- Andijan region — 4,422 cases;
- Bukhara region — 3,809 cases;
- Jizzakh region — 1,974 cases;
- Kashkadarya region — 6,352 cases;
- Navoi region — 1,361 cases;
- Namangan region — 3,710 cases;
- Samarkand region — 6,422 cases;
- Surkhandarya region — 5,332 cases;
- Syrdarya region — 1,391 cases;
- Tashkent region — 4,355 cases;
- Fergana region — 5,648 cases;
- Khorezm region — 5,514 cases;
- Tashkent city — 5,297 cases.
From the data, it is clear that the highest number of marriages were registered in Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions, as well as in Fergana and Khorezm regions. Samarkand region ranks first with 6,422 marriages. Kashkadarya region is second with 6,352 marriages, only a few marriages behind Samarkand.
Additionally, 5,297 marriages were registered in Tashkent city. Tashkent region and Fergana region also occupy high positions in this ranking.
