On the eve of Eid al-Adha, a group of Ukrainian children arrived in Tashkent for rest and rehabilitation with the assistance of the Uzbek side. This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Uzbekistan.

It is noted that a special program of rest and psychological rehabilitation is planned for them for 12 days. The children came from various regions of Ukraine affected by hostilities, in particular, from the cities of Kharkiv, Kherson, Nikolaev, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv and Kiev.

It is emphasized that this humanitarian mission, organized in response to the appeal of the Ukrainian Embassy, at the invitation and with the full support of the Uzbek side, aimed to restore the children's spiritual balance and "help them relax and take a break from daily airstrikes and missile strikes."

“The children and their supervisors were solemnly welcomed at Tashkent International Airport, after which they set off for a beautiful valley at the foot of the Tien Shan Mountains. The evening reception at the camp was organized in a sincere and warm spirit. The program of the visit is meaningful, which indicates the unprecedented involvement of the state bodies of Uzbekistan. Almost all relevant ministries and departments of the country are participating in its implementation. Every day, children are waiting for thematic events, creative competitions and excursions, from the "Day of National Values" to the "Day of Sports and Health". Such a comprehensive approach clearly demonstrates the deep interest of the Uzbek side in providing comprehensive assistance and support to Ukrainian children in this difficult period, the report says.
