Flood risk increasing: Be careful in Tashkent and several other regions!
From June 20 to 22, heavy rains may lead to mudflows and flash floods in several mountainous and foothill areas of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Agency (Uzhydromet).

Regions where flood risks may arise:
- Tashkent region: Ohangaron, Bo‘stonliq, Parkent, Piskent, O‘rta Chirchiq, Yuqori Chirchiq districts, as well as the cities of Angren and Olmaliq;
- Namangan region: Pop, Kosonsoy, Chortoq, Chust, Namangan and Yangiqo‘rg‘on districts;
- Fergana region: Fergana, Beshariq districts, as well as So‘x and Shohimardon areas;
- Andijan region: Andijan, Asaka, Jalaquduq, Qo‘rg‘ontepa, Paxtaobod, Izboskan, Xo‘jaobod, Marhamat districts and the city of Xonabod.

According to Uzhydromet, the accumulation of large amounts of rainwater may cause floods and mudflows. This increases the likelihood of roads, residential areas, and infrastructure objects being flooded in some regions.

Although measures are being taken by specialists to prevent the consequences of flooding, citizens—especially those living in mountainous areas, tourists, and drivers—are urged to be extremely cautious. Sudden changes in weather can pose a risk to everyone, so it is important to monitor the situation continuously to avoid any danger.

Reminder: If you have plans for travel, vacations, or trips to areas at risk of floods, it is recommended to closely follow weather updates.
