Agreement Reached on Sending Rare Rubies from Kuwait to Uzbekistan
During its scientific and creative visit to Kuwait, the delegation of Uzbekistan’s Center for Islamic Civilization reached several important agreements. As part of the visit, the delegation toured the House of Islamic Antiquities and the Tareq Rajab Museum, where discussions were held on exhibiting rare and globally significant artifacts at the upcoming global exhibition in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, negotiations were held with Dr. Hadil Khalil Rashad, the museum exhibition coordinator. They discussed preparations for the international exhibition titled "Uzbekistan’s Cultural Heritage — the Heritage of All Humanity", which will take place as part of the Center's opening in Tashkent in 2025.

The negotiations concluded with agreements on transporting historical rubies, jewelry, and other valuable artifacts from the Mughal era to Uzbekistan, arranging their exhibition, and ensuring secure storage conditions. It was noted that special display cases meeting international museum standards are being prepared for the exhibition. Renowned companies such as Italy's Goppion and Germany's Glasbau Hahn are participating in this process.

As a result of museum collaboration, agreements were also reached on transportation, packaging, and temporary storage procedures. The Kuwaiti side announced that it would fully handle these processes.

In the afternoon, the delegation of the Center met with Tareq Rajab Museum Director Ziyad Rajab and his sister Nour Rajab. During the conversation, preparations for the opening of the Center and the development of a photo album featuring artifacts related to the history of Uzbekistan preserved in the museum were discussed. Ziyad Rajab stated that the exhibits for the international exhibition have already been selected and will be officially presented in the coming days.

Thus, two major museums and one private collection in Kuwait will actively participate in the international exhibition. It was agreed that insurance, packaging, and transportation of all artifacts to Uzbekistan would be coordinated accordingly.

This cooperation not only strengthens cultural ties but also helps to further showcase the rich historical heritage of the Uzbek people to the global community.
