Undocumented construction in Tashkent has been sharply stopped

Tashkent authorities have halted construction at 59 sites found to be operating without proper documentation. In recent months, several developers were caught violating building regulations and legal requirements.

According to the city administration, some companies launched construction projects without obtaining necessary permits, expert conclusions, or technical approvals. Some even attempted to sell residential units to the public without legal ownership.

As a result, many citizens were misled by untrustworthy developers, losing their savings and being left without homes. Consequently, construction was stopped at 59 sites, and they were disconnected from the power grid.

. Always request original documents (cadastral data, expert reports, council decisions, technical inspection acts) and verify them carefully.
. Do not pay in cash or via unofficial means.
. If there are any doubts about a developer’s legitimacy, contact the Tashkent City Hall’s official Telegram bot for verification.

City officials emphasized a zero-tolerance policy toward construction violations and any activity that harms citizens' interests.
