Economic processes in Tashkent are aimed at ensuring active participation of the population. Starting from August 19, the selection stage of the "Initiative Budget" process for the second season of 2025 has ended on the "Open Budget" portal, and the advocacy stage has begun. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
According to the information, 22,623 proposals were received from citizens in this process, of which 18,656 passed the selection stage. Advocacy for the selected projects will be carried out from August 19 to 21, and during this period, the initiators will prepare for the voting stage by promoting the selected projects.
The processes are carried out in the following order:

Project submission stage: July 15 - August 3;

Selection stage: August 4-18;

Advocacy stage: August 19-21;

Voting stage: August 22-31.
823 districts, winners of the second season of 2024 and the first season of 2025, will have a break from participation in the project for the second season of 2025 and the first season of 2026. Schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, and other organizations in these districts will not be able to participate with their projects for the next two seasons.

The list of winners and the list of districts with a break will be published on official sources before the start of each season. Decisions on the initiative budget play an important role in the socio-economic development of our country.
