In the Namangan region, an important issue related to civil rights was resolved through the court. It turned out that the owner of a house demolished back in 2017 for state needs faced serious difficulties and was unable to receive the due compensation for many years.
According to information released by the regional Department of Justice, the residential property was demolished based on a decision of the Namangan city mayor dated August 21, 2017. However, although the demolition was carried out in the interests of the state, the compensation due to the owner was not paid on time. This situation was considered a violation not only of the citizen’s rights but also of the requirements of the law.
Subsequently, lawyers intervened in the case, provided legal assistance to recover the material damage, and filed an official lawsuit with the Namangan inter-district court. As a result of the trial, the citizen’s interests were protected, and 200 million sums of compensation were awarded in his favor.
