It was noted that over the past eight years, the volume of funds allocated to education and science in our country has increased dramatically. In particular, during this period, the volume of investments increased sixfold and reached 378 trillion soums.
At the same time, for the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, gold and foreign currency reserves exceeded 50 billion dollars and reached a new level. As the President noted, this indicates stable economic growth and sufficient resources.
- Our economy is developing dynamically, we have sufficient opportunities and reserves. Isn't this a reliable guarantee of the construction of everything from kindergartens and schools to technical schools and higher educational institutions, providing them with modern equipment, and continuously increasing the material incentives for teachers and mentors?! - said the President.
According to him, improving the quality of education, improving the working and living conditions of teachers will remain one of the most important directions of the country's reforms.
The President emphasized: In the New Uzbekistan, one of the most valuable spheres is education, and the most respected people are teachers and mentors.
Thus, large investments in education and science serve to create a solid foundation for the upbringing and education of the future generation in our country.
