An unexpected incident occurred in Tashkent. On the morning of September 16, in the Yakkasaray district of the capital, on Shota Rustaveli Street, an electronic billboard caught fire. This was reported by the city Department of Emergency Situations.

According to official information, at 07:26 a message about the fire was received by the DES dispatcher service. Rescue teams and fire equipment arrived at the specified location in just 5 minutes. As a result of prompt actions, the fire was completely extinguished at 07:40.

According to specialists, the incident caused panic among the public, but fortunately, no one was injured. At the same time, the causes of the fire are currently being investigated. Preliminary assumptions suggest that the fire could have been caused by a malfunction of the electrical equipment of the billboard or by a short circuit.

Firefighters note that it is very important to strictly follow safety requirements when using such devices. Since the poor condition of electrical equipment or failure to conduct timely preventive work may lead to large fires.
