In Uzbekistan, in order to ensure road traffic safety and take into account the justified objections of drivers, important legislative changes have been made. According to the new rule approved by the Senate, from now on fines for violations recorded by radars and photo-video recording devices can only be applied within 1 month.
The previous procedure has changed
As is known, under the previous legislation, the period for imposing such fines could extend up to one year. This caused dissatisfaction and various problems among many drivers. The new law fundamentally changed this procedure, and the period was reduced to one month. According to senators, this reform will help strengthen drivers’ trust.
A warning system has been introduced
In addition, according to the new legislation, for less serious violations of traffic rules, drivers will not receive a direct fine but rather an administrative warning. According to officials, this measure will not only ensure fairness but also serve as an incentive to increase drivers’ responsibility.
The significance of the innovation
This legislative change is aimed at creating convenience for drivers, increasing transparency and trust in the system. At the same time, it is of great importance in strengthening order and discipline on the roads.
