A meeting of the State Commission on Admission to Educational Organizations of Uzbekistan was held, at which a number of important decisions were made. This protocol is aimed at more effectively organizing the higher education system in the country, creating broader opportunities for young people, and ensuring the principles of equality.
The main innovation is that an additional competition will be held for vacant places in bachelor's degree programs. This opportunity can also be used by applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher on entrance exams, but were not recommended for admission or did not choose a higher educational institution at the second stage of registration. Thanks to this, thousands of young people will have the opportunity to enter the university of their dreams.
At the same time, based on the results of the entrance exams, applicants will be given the opportunity to study on a differentiated paid-contract basis. That is, more favorable conditions are offered for applicants who have scored higher points.
At the commission meeting, another important decision was made: state orders for foreign and non-state higher educational institutions operating in our country were approved. This will further expand opportunities for young people to receive education in accordance with international standards.
At the same time, special attention will be paid to the youth of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Additional grant and paid-contract places have been allocated for them. This step is expected to become an important factor in meeting the demand for higher education among young people in the region.
Also, the quotas allocated for the presidential grant were distributed among the areas of education. The results of the competition for master's degree programs in state higher education institutions have also been officially confirmed.
Experts emphasize that these innovations are an important step in creating a more fair and effective system for applicants. Opportunities for young people are increasing, which means new paths are opening up for their pursuit of knowledge and future success.
