Ambassador Akkulov opened a new stage in tourism with Walks of Dubai

In Dubai, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Okkulov, held a meeting with the CEO of Walks of Dubai, Muhammad Abdulmavla Musa Hamad. During the conversation, issues of wide promotion of the country's tourism potential, strengthening the dynamics of mutual visits, and establishing internship programs for students studying in the field of tourism were discussed. The meeting was held in a pragmatic spirit and was enriched with proposals for practical steps.

The UAE side highly appreciated the rich historical and cultural heritage and natural tourism potential of Uzbekistan. In this regard, the intention to participate with a special pavilion in the international "Tourism on the Silk Road" fair, which will be held in Tashkent on November 27-29, was expressed. This participation is expected to create a platform for brand promotion, finding partners, and presenting new tour packages.

During the conversation, Muhammad Abdulmavla Musa Hamad announced plans to open a regional office of the company for Central Asia in Tashkent. He also expressed his readiness to establish direct contacts with major tour operators and hotel chains, and to identify areas of cooperation within the framework of the trip. The possibility of organizing 15-day internships for students of the Faculty of Tourism in Dubai is also being considered.

The parties agreed to launch joint promotional activities aimed at increasing the flow of tourists from the UAE. Within this framework, it is planned to develop digital marketing campaigns, promotional projects with the participation of mediators and influencers, as well as the joint preparation of training and practical modules for guides, tour operators, and hospitality industry employees. The goal is to improve the hospitality experience by improving the quality of service and the variety of routes.

The results of the meeting have a practical agenda: the creation of a technical group for the opening of an office, the coordination of the concept of fair logistics and the pavilion, the definition of the curriculum and selection criteria for internship programs. The negotiations were aimed at laying the foundation for a long-term partnership in accordance with the mutual interests of the parties.

Experts note that these steps will expand the geography of routes and serve to ensure a stable flow even during the inter-seasonal period. At the same time, factors such as improved direct flight geography, visa procedures, and infrastructure quality will further enhance the effectiveness of this cooperation. In conclusion, the negotiations in Dubai will bring business, education, and marketing to a new level, bringing tourism relations to a new level.
