According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, the total volume of Uzbekistan's imports reached $28.5 billion. This is 11.8% more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the country imported goods and services from more than 170 countries. China ranks first in terms of import volume, having supplied $8.5 billion worth of products to Uzbekistan.
Russia is in second place with $5.4 billion, and Kazakhstan is in third place with $2.1 billion. The main partners were also Turkey (1.2 billion), Korea (1.1 billion), Germany (774 million), India (734.3 million), Turkmenistan (581.6 million), Belarus (478.5 million), and the USA (416.3 million).
The total value of imports with other countries amounted to $7.2 billion.
It should be noted that the countries of Central Asia have significantly increased the volume of imports from the Persian Gulf countries in recent years. In 2024, the volume of trade between the region and the countries of the Persian Gulf reached $3.3 billion.
