The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan has concluded. During the visit, the head of state participated in a number of important events and held talks aimed at further developing relations between the two countries.
First, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. During the conversation, promising areas of friendly relations, trade and economic cooperation, and cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries were discussed. The Presidents also focused on the implementation of mutually beneficial projects and ensuring regional stability.
President Mirziyoyev also took an active part in the "Central Asia - Russia" summit and the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Dushanbe. At these forums, he put forward a number of initiatives to strengthen political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation in the region, implement infrastructure projects, and ensure information security.
According to the President, an atmosphere of open dialogue and mutual trust for the countries of the region is a key factor not only for sustainable development, but also for the well-being of peoples.
In the final part of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was officially seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Kokhir Rasulzoda, and other officials.
Through meetings and summits during his visit to Tajikistan, President Mirziyoyev elevated relations between the two countries to a new level and took important steps towards cooperation between Central Asian countries.
The high-ranking guest successfully completed the visit and departed for Tashkent.
