The Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held talks with the European Commissioner for International Cooperation, Josef Sikela, during her visit to Brussels.
During the conversation, issues of further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union and the implementation of new projects were discussed.
Currently, bilateral relations are actively developing in the political, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the promotion of joint initiatives and practical projects.
Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the effective use of new opportunities opening up on the scale of Central Asia is of great importance for both sides.
- It is important to fully utilize the new opportunities opening up on the path of cooperation. "We have reaffirmed our commitment to further expanding partnership with the European Union," Mirziyoyeva said.
The meeting once again demonstrated that in recent years the dialogue between Uzbekistan and the European Union has reached a new level, and both sides are striving to strengthen the long-term strategic partnership.
