Uzbekistan's tourism achieved record growth in 2025

Tourism in Uzbekistan has been developing at an unprecedented pace in recent years. According to the Tourism Committee, more than 8.6 million foreign tourists visited the country in the first nine months of this year. This indicator is 112.5% higher than in the same period last year and is an absolute record in the history of national tourism.

According to the data, since April 2025, Uzbekistan has been receiving more than 1 million tourists every month. This indicator means that the country's prestige on the international tourist map is growing.

The Tourism Committee noted that the flow of foreign tourists is showing significant growth in all major markets. For example, in 2025, compared to the post-pandemic 2022, the number of tourists from Britain increased 2.6 times, from Qatar - 6.2 times, from the USA - 3 times, from France - 2.9 times, from Russia - 2.1 times, from Hungary - 3.3 times, from Germany - 2.5 times, from Poland - 6.2 times.

At the same time, the export of tourist services also grew at a record level, bringing in revenue of more than US$3.6 billion. This indicates a further increase in the strategic importance of tourism in the country's economy.

According to experts, these results were due to Uzbekistan's active position in the international arena. In particular, cooperation with leading global media platforms, road-show events held in foreign countries, participation in international exhibitions, and articles published in foreign publications have significantly strengthened the country's brand.

According to experts in the field of tourism, this growth is associated not only with the flow of guests, but also with the improvement of the quality of infrastructure, transport, and hotel services in the country. New routes, cultural festivals, and local events make Uzbekistan an even more attractive destination for tourists.

Thus, by 2025, Uzbekistan has firmly established itself among the leading countries in tourism in Central Asia, further strengthening its brand in the international arena.
