Artificial intelligence is no longer just a topic for IT specialists. At a meeting held by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was announced that from now on, the deputy heads of all ministries and industries responsible for digitalization will also be responsible for the development of artificial intelligence, Prezident.uz reports.
The position of advisor to khokims on digitalization and artificial intelligence will also be introduced in cities and districts. This means that in each region there will be a person responsible for the effective use of modern technologies.
All ministries and khokimiyats will have to create specialized departments for the development of artificial intelligence within their structure. Their tasks are clearly defined: improving the quality of service, increasing work efficiency, reducing unnecessary bureaucracy and costs, reducing the shadow economy, and, most importantly, creating new solutions using artificial intelligence.
Such an approach creates conveniences not only in public administration, but also in the lives of citizens. For example, automation of document flow or application processes will save time, reduce the human factor, and make the system transparent.
Another important step is the study of foreign experience. At the initiative of the President, 100 specialists with technological knowledge and fluency in a foreign language will be sent to the USA, Europe, Singapore, and Japan for six-month special training programs. Upon their return, they will play a leading role in implementing artificial intelligence in local systems.
At the same time, starting next year, a rating system will be launched in all ministries and regions to assess the level of application of artificial intelligence. Through this rating, it will be possible to see which organizations are open to innovation, and which still rely on traditional methods.
In an era of rapid technological development, such an initiative is expected to take the country to a new level, making the management system smart, fast, and modern.
