The emergency response system is being further improved. A new regulation "On the Ministry of Emergency Situations" has been approved by presidential decree, as reported by Prezident.uz. This document clearly defined the status, tasks, rights, and procedures for the Ministry's activities.
According to the new regulation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations will now act not only as an active agency during fires or natural disasters, but also as a central structure that systematically organizes preventive work. Its main directions are aimed at protecting the population from risks, reducing the risk of emergencies, and ensuring prompt response measures.
Among the tasks facing the Ministry are: taking comprehensive measures to prevent natural and man-made disasters, maintaining available forces and resources in constant readiness, and developing the civil defense system. At the same time, timely notification of the population about emergencies has also been identified as an important direction.
In addition, control over strict observance of safety rules at enterprises working with flammable or explosive chemicals will be strengthened. The Ministry coordinates these activities and ensures compliance with standards.
On the basis of the new regulation, special uniforms and symbols for the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been approved. They are prepared according to a model approved by the president. Servicemen and rescuers will now be provided with free military and special uniforms at the expense of the state.
This decision will contribute not only to the modernization of the system, but also to raising the prestige of rescuers and worthy recognition of their work. It is expected that the new regulation will create a modern and effective system for combating emergencies.
