The main task of the new system is to verify the authenticity of the call number. If the international call is originally from abroad but is hidden by a local number (+998 prefix), the system will detect it in real time and automatically block it. This was an effective solution against the schemes that the scammers have been using for many years.
According to Beeline, scammers often call from abroad and try to present themselves as local subscribers. For example, they appear to be calling from a stationary number or on behalf of one of the mobile operators of Uzbekistan. The anti-spuffing system detects such a discrepancy and blocks the call from the path.
In this process, the system checks in which network the SIM card is registered. If the call is made through a foreign network, but the number is local - the system blocks the call. That is, the fraudster's "mask" will be exposed.
According to Mobiuz, the company implemented this technology in September 2025. For a month, the anti-scouting system blocked thousands of suspicious calls, protecting subscribers from possible fraud. "Most importantly, this service is activated automatically and for free. "No action is required from the user," the company said in a statement.
The new system not only ensures the security of subscribers, but also strengthens trust in the digital environment. Experts note that this project is an important step in improving digital security and is expected to be fully integrated into the system of all telecom operators in the future.
