According to the Tashkent City Administration, a large-scale campaign has begun in the capital to combat unauthorized advertisements placed on vehicles, the press service of the city administration reported.
Employees of the Road Traffic Safety Department, specialists from the city branch of the Competition Development Committee, and representatives of the city administration organized joint raids. During these inspections, vehicles displaying advertisements in violation of legal requirements were identified.
It was reported that at present, in order to place outdoor advertisements on vehicles, it is necessary to officially register the advertising space through the state services portal — “Gosuslugi.” This rule is mandatory for all advertisement owners.
As a result of the raids, several violations were recorded. Law enforcement agencies took legal measures and conducted explanatory work with the vehicle owners. Specialists continue systematic monitoring in this area.
It is emphasized that these measures aim to maintain order and aesthetic standards in the city’s appearance, as well as to protect citizens from illegal activity and misleading advertising.
