Cyber law specialists will be trained in Uzbekistan
Within the framework of adapting Uzbekistan's legal system to modern digital challenges, a new undergraduate program—"Cyber Law"—will be launched at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies starting from the 2026/2027 academic year. The duration of studies for this field will be four years.

The main goal of the program is to train qualified specialists capable of reviewing electronic criminal cases and utilizing digital technologies in investigative activities. This initiative is one of the key elements of the state's "Digital Prosecutor’s Office – 2030" strategy and is aimed at automating judicial processes and increasing the transparency of law enforcement system activities.

The introduction of the new educational program will be synchronized with a general course aimed at increasing the digital literacy of the population. Specifically, in November 2025, a “Month of Raising Cyber Culture” campaign will be held in the country.

This campaign is aimed at preventing internet fraud and teaching citizens the basics of network security. One of the first international documents dedicated to combating computer crimes is the Council of Europe's Convention on Cybercrime, signed in Budapest in 2001.

To this day, it serves as a basis for the national legislation in this field of many countries.
