The new rules make it even easier to use bank cards

Bank card procedures in Uzbekistan have been updated for another stage. The Ministry of Justice officially registered the amendments to the "Rules for the Issuance and Circulation of Bank Cards." The updated regulation not only expanded the types of cards, but also reshaped the process of card opening for young people in accordance with modern requirements.

One of the biggest innovations is the introduction of a business bank card. This card will allow individual entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens to more conveniently manage their income. That is, they will be able to manage personal and business expenses in a single system.

At the same time, the social bank card deserves special attention. With this type of card, citizens can receive benefits, material assistance, and other social payments more securely and quickly. Most importantly, control over the funds will be simplified.

The new rules also define the procedure for pre-issued personal bank cards. Such cards are activated by verifying the user's identity through mobile applications - this allows you to use the card without going to the bank. The digital identification system makes services faster and safer.

For young people, the procedure has been adapted to modern requirements. Now teenagers aged 14-18 can open a bank card independently. For children under 14 years of age, the written consent of one of the parents or a legal representative is required. This change will support the financial literacy and independence of the younger generation.

Conveniences have also been created for legal entities - now it is possible to make payments for drinking water and sewerage services using corporate bank cards. This will greatly contribute to the automation of enterprise costs and the regulation of settlements.

The updated regulation will serve to expand the payment infrastructure, introduce digital identification, and make banking services more accessible to the general public. The rules adopted during this period of gradual digitalization of financial services open up new opportunities for citizens.
