Three large environmental projects have been launched in Uzbekistan, the goal is a clean future

The Russian news agency "Karavan Info" published an article about the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan to strengthen environmental sustainability. It was noted that at a special meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, three major initiatives aimed at radically improving the state of the environment in the country were officially launched.

Presidential initiatives - a new stage of ecosystem restructuring

At the meeting, issues of further increasing the effectiveness of work in the field of ecology and environmental protection, improving the health and quality of life of the population were raised. In this regard, such strategic projects as "Clean Air," "Waste-Free Clean Uzbekistan," and "Ecomeros" are being implemented.

Each project is aimed at reforming the country's ecological architecture, with the active participation of not only government agencies but also the private sector.

"Clean air": a centralized fight against pollution

As Minister of Ecology Aziz Abdukhakimov told the "Uzbekistan 24" TV channel, the main pillar of this initiative is the creation of a single environmental monitoring center in the country. This center constantly monitors air quality and helps identify sources of pollution.

Also, industrial enterprises of the first and second categories will be equipped with modern filters and treatment facilities. These measures will significantly reduce the volume of harmful substances released into the atmosphere in densely populated industrial zones.

"Waste-Free Clean Uzbekistan": a new generation of waste management system

The second project aims to fundamentally update the waste management system in the country. Within its framework, modern cluster models of waste collection, sorting, processing, and utilization will be implemented. The President emphasized the need to involve private businesses in this process.

The goal is to create a continuous and efficient system that can turn waste into an economic resource.

"Ecomeros": a comprehensive program dedicated to the preservation of natural resources

The third initiative is aimed at protecting, developing, and preserving the unique natural territories of Uzbekistan for future generations. Within the framework of the project, reserves, national parks, biosphere zones, and specially protected natural objects will be restored, and ecotourism infrastructure will be developed.

Such tasks as maintaining ecological balance, increasing the diversity of animals, and expanding forest areas are also noted as one of the main directions.

Environmental policy - investment in the future

The article emphasizes that the implementation of these three major projects will increase the level of environmental safety in the country, create a healthy and clean environment for the population, and direct regions towards sustainable development.

According to experts, these initiatives will become a solid foundation not only for environmental, but also for economic and social stability.

It is noted that Uzbekistan's "green development" strategy is rising one step higher with the current steps.
