An important historical ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence, which will further strengthen the friendship of the peoples. At the event, the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was awarded one of Uzbekistan's most prestigious state awards - the Order of Friendship of the Highest Degree. This honorable award once again confirmed President Tokayev's personal contribution to raising relations between fraternal countries to a new level.
During the ceremony, the head of state noted that the friendship, strong neighborliness, and strategic partnership that unites the two peoples are developing at a new pace under Tokayev's leadership. It was emphasized that thanks to joint efforts, bilateral relations have risen sharply in recent years and reached a new stage of development.
Today, the dialogue between parliaments, governments, regions, businesses, and the public has acquired an active and meaningful character. Youth exchanges and the expansion of cultural and humanitarian programs serve as a factor that brings the two countries closer together. Trade volumes are growing steadily, and large projects are being implemented in industry, agriculture, energy, and transport - all this testifies to the practical results of cooperation.
Another aspect highlighted at the ceremony was Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's efforts to support peace, sustainable development, and regional unity in the international arena. His initiatives serve to strengthen the atmosphere of trust with close neighbors.
Accepting the high order, the President of Kazakhstan expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan. He emphasized that the spirit of alliance and friendship between the two countries will continue to develop consistently, and cooperation will be enriched with new facets.
These relations, based on mutual respect and brotherhood, will undoubtedly serve as a solid foundation for the present and future generations of the two peoples.
