Within the framework of the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, Tashkent once again became an important diplomatic center. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in the capital, at the Kuksaroy residence, and held comprehensive talks with them.

During the meetings, the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, primarily at the bilateral and multilateral levels, was thoroughly reviewed. The Presidents exchanged views on how existing cooperation mechanisms are being implemented, and in which areas they need to be accelerated and deepened.

During the talks, special attention was paid to the issue of bringing trade and economic cooperation to a more comprehensive and effective level. Proposals were put forward to increase mutual trade between the regions, implement large investment projects, and expand opportunities for cooperation in such areas as agriculture, industry, energy, transport, and logistics.

The Presidents also discussed in detail a wide range of pressing issues for the region - such as security, sustainable development, cross-border cooperation, rational use of water and energy resources, and strengthening ties between ecology and people.

During the talks, it was emphasized that maintaining and further strengthening the atmosphere of stability, mutual trust, and good neighborliness in Central Asia is a priority goal for every state. The leaders expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation in all areas that serve the common interests of the region.
The meetings in Tashkent once again testified to the fact that the countries of the region are entering a completely new stage of political dialogue, economic integration, and long-term cooperation.
