The competition for more than a thousand places allocated on the basis of state grants for foreign and non-state higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan has been resumed. According to the State Commission's report, an additional competition will be held for the remaining 1,320 vacancies allocated for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the information, from November 25 to December 4, 2025, candidates recommended for admission to foreign or non-state universities on a paid-contract basis will register online through the my.uzbmb.uz platform of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications. This process is the first and most important stage for participation in the competition.
Testing will be organized for registered applicants until December 11, 2025. All information about the date, location, and time of the tests will be published in the applicant's personal account. Candidates can also download permission to participate in the exam from the same office.
At the same time, according to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated May 14, 2019, an established fee will be charged from registered applicants. Those who do not make the payment on time are not allowed to take the test and lose the right to participate in the competition.
Based on the results of the test trials, the scores of the candidates are formed sequentially. The rating lists compiled in this way are formalized in the prescribed manner and submitted to the relevant higher educational institutions by December 15, 2025.
This additional competition is expected to create a new opportunity for many young people who want to study at foreign and non-state universities, but did not receive a scholarship at the previous stage.
