As part of his visit to the Jizzakh region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited the "Agromarkaz" agricultural enterprises complex in the Sharaf-Rashidov district.
Thanks to the attention paid to the development of agriculture in our country, opportunities in this sphere are expanding, which plays an important role in increasing yields. On the ground, agro-centers are being created, and comprehensive services are being provided to farmers and dekhkans.
A similar center has also started operating in the Sharaf-Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region.
The center has a plant protection laboratory, a veterinary pharmacy, agronomist consultations, the supply of seeds and seedlings, the construction of greenhouses for households, an agromarket store, and the sale and maintenance of mini-equipment.
Here, all agricultural services are organized on the principle of "one-stop shop." On the first floor of the center, which occupies one hectare, there is a store of plant protection products, a veterinary pharmacy, a seed store, an agromarket, mobile brigade rooms, and 8 other service rooms.
On the second floor, there is a plant protection laboratory. Soil and water analysis rooms, entomology and phytopathology rooms have also been organized.
The regional agricultural department, the Department of the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex, the agricultural inspection, the seed center, the karakul sheep breeding association, and other organizations serving agriculture are located on the territory of the center.
The Head of State familiarized himself with the activities of the agro-center and gave recommendations on further expanding its activities, increasing customer services, and creating added value in agriculture.
