Visits for education: sharp 51.5% increase
According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 33,287 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for educational purposes in January-October 2025. This figure increased sharply by 11,307 people, or 51.5%, compared to the same period last year, which clearly demonstrates the growing authority of Uzbekistan as a regional center of education.
Main sources of student flow
India and Turkmenistan are leading in the number of foreign students who visited Uzbekistan for study during the first ten months of this year. This confirms that the influx of young people from Asian countries has a large share:
1. India - 14,322 people
2. Turkmenistan - 8,348 people
3. Tajikistan - 2,323 people.
4. Pakistan - 1,620 people.
5. China - 1,254 units.
6. South Korea - 806 units.
7. Kyrgyzstan - 696 people
8. Egypt - 498 people
9. Philippines - 461 people
10. USA - 429 people
11. Turkey - 333 people
12. Afghanistan - 280 people.
13. Jordan - 175 units.
14. Russia - 158 people.
15. Great Britain - 153 people.
16. Other states - 1,431 units.
The arrival of students from developed countries, such as the USA and Great Britain, testifies to the international recognition of Uzbekistan's educational services.
