New relationships for students during winter break: start and end dates of the break

In the 2025-2026 academic year, winter holidays for students of general education schools will begin on December 28, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education reported.

In primary grades (1-4 grades), holidays begin one day earlier, that is, from December 27. Thus, the duration of winter holidays for children will be a total of 14 calendar days.

Vacation will last until January 10, 2026. Since Sunday, January 11, 2026, falls on a day off, classes in the third quarter will begin on January 12.

The stages of this year's holidays will be convenient for everyone, and schools will strive to maintain high quality of education and achieve significant results in the new academic year.
