Following yesterday’s precipitation, relatively stable and dry weather is expected to prevail across most of Uzbekistan today during daylight hours. According to "Uzgidromet," the weather will remain clear throughout the day, with nature momentarily returning to calmness.
Temperature indicators across the country are expected to range around 0…+5 degrees Celsius, while in the southern regions, it may be even warmer, reaching +6…+9 degrees Celsius.
However, conditions will change again as the weekend approaches. On Saturday and Sunday, a new wave of humid air masses is forecasted to enter Uzbekistan’s territory. As a result, intermittent precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected across the country. Nighttime temperatures will drop to approximately 0…–5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will hover around 0…+5 degrees Celsius.
The wind will predominantly blow from the west and may intensify to moderate speed in some areas. Additionally, there is a likelihood of fog in some parts of the country, which will require extra caution when traveling on the roads.
In mountainous areas, periodic snowfall will continue. Experts are warning that there is a risk of avalanches in these regions and are urging residents to take necessary safety measures.
In Tashkent, no precipitation is expected during the day today, with temperatures forecasted at +1…+3 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the capital is likely to experience snowfall and fog. On Sunday, light snowfall may occur at night and in the morning, but no significant precipitation is expected during the day. Temperatures will range between –2…+3 degrees Celsius at night and during the day.
In summary, over the weekend, nature will again remind us of the face of winter. Therefore, it is advisable to plan your trips and activities according to weather conditions.
