In the first days of January, the weather across Uzbekistan will gradually become warmer and relatively stable. According to the UzHydromet agency, from January 1 to January 8, precipitation will be scarce in most regions, with predominantly dry and variable weather prevailing.

In some areas, fog may be observed, and changes in wind direction and speed are also expected.

In Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be variable with no expected precipitation. Fog may occur in some places. The wind will shift from east to west and blow at a speed of 7–12 m/s. From January 5 to 8, air temperatures will range around 0–5°C.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be mostly dry. Fog may occur in some areas. Winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, and on January 1–2, wind speeds may increase to 18 m/s in certain locations. In the second half of January, temperatures are expected to be around 0–5°C.

In Tashkent city and the Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, no precipitation is expected. Fog may occur in some areas. Westerly winds will blow at 7–12 m/s. During the nights of January 5–7, temperatures will range from −2°C to +3°C, while daytime temperatures will be 3–8°C. On January 8, daytime temperatures may rise to 10°C.

In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be relatively warm. Fog may occur in some areas. From January 5 to 8, air temperatures will rise to 8–13°C.

In Andijan, Namangan regions and the Fergana Valley, the weather will be variable, with possible rain on some days at the beginning of the month. From January 5 to 8, no precipitation is expected. Fog may occur. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0–5°C below zero to 0–5°C above zero, while daytime temperatures will range from 5 to 10°C.

In the mountainous regions of the republic, the weather will be variable, with occasional rain and snow. Fog may occur in some places. Nighttime temperatures will range from −2–7°C to −2°C – +3°C, while daytime temperatures will vary from −2°C – +3°C to +2–7°C.

Overall, no severe cold spells are expected at the beginning of January, and the weather will be relatively comfortable for most people.
