The Tashkent City Road Safety Department urged residents of the capital to be cautious due to the observed snowy weather.
The department noted that in order to ensure road safety and prevent possible accidents due to snowy weather in the city of Tashkent, citizens are asked to strictly comply with a number of important requirements and recommendations.
In particular, from drivers and road users:
-strict adherence to traffic rules;
-maintaining distance;
-do not exceed the established speed limit;
-respecting pedestrians moving on the roads, he asked to be careful.
At the same time, the official message also issued another important warning: "At the same time, we ask you not to leave cars under multi-story buildings and structures, as well as under trees, and to store vehicles in special parking lots," the message says. In snowy and humid weather, there is a possibility of falling ice chips from the roof or breaking tree branches - so the plan "I'll leave quickly" doesn't work here.
It should be recalled that Uzhydromet warned about the intrusion of humid and cold air masses into the territory of Uzbekistan on January 22-24. Therefore, it is recommended to take precautions without rushing, both on the road and on foot.
