Some categories of persons are fully or partially exempt from property tax.
Those fully exempt include Heroes and holders of the “Shukhrat” order, war invalids and participants, parents and widows of military personnel and internal affairs officers who died in service. Also, persons who have installed renewable energy equipment are granted a benefit for 3 years. Orphan children are exempt from property tax for housing provided by the state until the age of 23.
There are also categories that receive partial benefits. In particular, large families with 10 or more children, pensioners, and persons with disabilities of groups I–II are exempt from tax for the part of housing up to 60 square meters.
It is noted that this benefit applies only to one housing property. For this, the relevant documents must be submitted to the tax authorities.
