Uzbek leader praised labor and unity

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the nation during Navruz celebrations, calling on citizens to live in a spirit of unity, mutual respect and creative work. In his festive message, he said the holiday reflects the values that have long shaped the Uzbek people, including solidarity, kindness and a shared commitment to building a better future.

The head of state drew special attention to the country’s natural beauty, fertile land and unique resources. He said these blessings must be carefully preserved and used wisely for the benefit of future generations. According to Mirziyoyev, the Uzbek people have protected this valuable heritage for centuries through their hard work, generosity and noble character, and he expressed confidence that thoughtful use of these assets would further strengthen national prosperity.

Continuing the traditions associated with Navruz, the president encouraged people to plant trees, create new gardens and improve neighborhoods and homes. He said such efforts not only beautify daily life but also contribute to the country’s development and public well-being. His remarks echoed the seasonal spirit of renewal that Navruz represents across Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoyev also stressed the importance of good neighborly relations, social harmony and mutual respect. He said the nation’s high moral qualities are best demonstrated through practical good deeds, support for one another and a sincere commitment to peace and stability in local communities. Strengthening these values, he noted, remains essential for preserving national unity.

In a separate appeal to young people, the president urged them to gain modern knowledge, master foreign languages and acquire professional skills needed in a rapidly changing world. He said the younger generation must grow into well-rounded individuals capable of contributing to the country’s progress and carrying forward the responsibility of building a new Uzbekistan.

Summing up his address, Mirziyoyev said that creating a new life, a new history and a new future together as one homeland and one people is the most important task for every citizen. He concluded by once again congratulating the public on Navruz and wishing all compatriots peace, happiness and prosperity.
